Digital
Colour Group is a unique combination of digital photography, web site &
print ad design and production, marketing and e-commerce solutions. The
individualized strategic marketing campaigns we develop for our clients
are the catalyst for their business development and sustained growth.
Digital Colour Group was founded in 1989 as a traditional pre-press and
color separation company. Located in Suffern, New York, our operation fit
snugly in just under 2,000 square feet. In 1992, Abbe Green joined Digital
and we expanded our services to include traditional photography. Although
photography is a natural extension to color separations, there were few
color separators offering photographic services. Photography soon became
an integral part of our company. In 1993 we learned of a new technology,
digital photography. Because of our experience in photography and color
separations, Digital was asked to become a beta test site for the technology.
Our testing yielded valuable information which was provided to the manufacturer.
Based on the results of our testing, the manufacturer Leaf/Scitex asked
Digital to help develop LUTs, (color lookup tables). These LUTs were included
in Scitex ColorShop software, their high-quality digital photography color
separation program. With the success of digital photography, in 1996 Digital
once again expanded its services to a relatively new phenomenon, the Internet.
Digital's web site development soon included e-commerce solutions, strategic
marketing and back office e-business integration. We had long outgrown our
small space and was forced to rent additional studio space. During the latter
part of 1998, we purchased the building which was to become our new location.
Digital Colour Group now occupies over 10,000 square feet. Our studio is
a unique blend of old and new. The building, built in 1881, is in pristine
condition with all the charms of nailess post & beam construction. It provides
all the space requirements and atmosphere to deliver the finest digital
photographic images.
While our space requirements have grown considerably, the success of Digital
Colour Group can best be measured by the growth of our clients businesses.
